The WBU made a beautiful setting for the best evening of our lives. Natasha has curated a space that is a thoughtful mixture of elements from Pittsburgh's past, blending a heavier, industrial framework with touches of Gilded Age antiques and finishes that bring the space to life and round out its edges. The space was the perfect size for our 125 person wedding. On the day of, our coordinators made sure that everything was running smoothly. They were friendly and professional and very easy to work with. We so greatly appreciated the friendly and professional staff, the flexibility and access to the venue on the weekend of our wedding, and of course the beautiful setting for our ceremony and reception. My husband and I had our reception at The WBU and we have not one regret! The space is unique and so thoughtfully decorated with odes to its history. We had our ceremony off-site at a church, then cocktail hour in their first floor event space and reception in their ballroom upstairs. We had the perfect amount of space for our guest count of 150. Laura, their manager, was so lovely to work with. We noticed her attention to detail and genuine concern for our wedding vision from the very beginning. We highly recommend this venue!

We could not have asked for a cooler, more fun, or easier experience! We had our wedding ceremony on the ground floor, our cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom upstairs, and our guests spent a lot of time on the porch and outside throughout the evening. This space is so delightfully Pittsburgh with it's interesting history and endearing location while maintaining a level of class and comfort that allowed for every type of guest at our wedding to be able to have the experience that they wanted. More than half of our 110 guests were attending from out of town, and they are still gushing weeks later about how charismatic the space was. Natasha, Jeremy, and everyone on the WBU team were so kind and organized every step of the way. They run a well oiled machine, and were dedicated to giving us the day that we had imagined. You will not be disappointed if you host an event here!
