At Wanderlust Weddings and Events, we plan weddings and events of all kinds! We love personal and unique ideas and design elements that make your wedding or event *feel like you*. We customize all packages to your needs and we truly enjoy getting to know you. We want to learn what’s important to you for your event so that we can best gauge how we can help you!
We are a sister-team born and raised in Pittsburgh. While we offer month of coordination, we love having a grasp on your plans more than 90 days out and we thrive within our partial and full-scale packages. We have just celebrated 10 years in business, as of November 2025. We love to travel and love a wedding or event anywhere in the world!
What makes your work unique?
We like to think as a sister-team, our different styles, work backgrounds, and personalities make us unique! While Samantha has a very good eye for little details and creating all of the pretty visuals, Ali is an attention-to-detail kind of person, creating lists, spreadsheets, and documents for seamless planning with clients! Together, we are a package deal that creates beautiful events that run smoothly behind the scenes. Having a handful of lead planners and team members with us has helped us expand our bandwidth as well.
What is your ideal client like?
Our ideal client is involved in the planning process, but doesn’t mind stepping out of their comfort zone. We love a client who knows what they want, but also trusts us to help bring their vision and ideas to fruition. Our ideal client likes the little details but also allows us to give feedback and design advice. Our ideal client trusts us. They feel confident when we offer our knowledge and guidance and they trust the process.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding dreams to life?
We thoroughly ask and learn where they are in the process, and where they want to be. From budget to the dream vision, we ask uncomfortable questions to make sure we and they understand the process with all of these key points in mind. From there, we focus on vendors and items from most important to not as important. We offer guidance with vendors, review proposals and contracts, and ensure everyone is on the same page with each step. We love putting together mood boards and design ideas, and working in showroom appointments to offer ideas and show them their vision IRL. We then organize all their plans from start to finish with detailed forms and documents to help keep them in line, and to keep their wedding planning process moving efficiently and timely, if necessary. We love a good check-off list and to-do list!
