Tell me a little bit about your business!
My business, formerly known as Wood + Grace, is all about creative design. I’ve been in the wedding industry since 2015, but have loved art my whole life. I design save-the-dates, invitations, menus, programs, fabric backdrops, thank you cards, bridal party gifts, unique wedding favors, wedding decor, styling, and more. Using hand-inked calligraphy and illustrations, I craft custom stationery tailored to the meet the needs of the couple.
What makes your work unique?
As an artist, my mission is to bring love stories to life through intentional design. Whether I’m designing invitations, a ceremony space, or tablescapes, my purpose isn’t just to make things look pretty but to let the true intention of the wedding shine. This makes for one-of-a-kind weddings that speak your story.
What is your ideal client like?
He or she loves their significant other and the guests they are inviting more than anything else. They want to throw a wedding that holds purpose, meaning, and depth. He or she wants not just the latest trends and glam (though that’s great) but they also want the people they love to know just how much they mean to them. To show them, they will prepare a party that is thrown well to celebrate not only their own marriage, but their favorite people who got them to the altar too.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding paper dreams to life?
The first step is to inquire with me through my website contact form, letting me know what services you’d be interested in. I’ll send my couples a fun survey to fill out to help me get the basics of their interests, relationships, and wedding dreams down. Then, we will meet over coffee or wine in person (or via video call if not local) to chat through all their ideas and touch/feel all the pretty paper samples. This is where I take on the little details that can be overwhelming for couples and walk them through the process step by step. With my experience, I can guide them along and make the invitation/mailing process fun and enjoyable rather than stressful and burdensome. In the end, they will have custom invitations that look and feel like them.
