Hello, my name is Tyler Newpol of Tyler Newpol Films!
I have lived in Pittsburgh for most of my life and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. The first wedding that I filmed was during the pandemic when I helped a family friend who had to downsize her wedding. I loved filming her wedding so much that I wanted to make this into a business venture. Fast forward to September 2021, my business officially became an LLC.
I love filming weddings because it gives me the opportunity to share someone’s love story through my favorite medium – film! Maybe along the way, we can become lifelong friends that stay in touch from time to time!
What makes your work unique?
My work is unique because I use modern film techniques with high-quality equipment to create a really nicely polished product. Your day is very special to you and it only happens once, so I want you to feel like a Hollywood star or IG influencer the entire time!
What is your ideal client like?
I love working with couples who are all about that content! The ones that love to share their big day on every social media platform and appreciate high-quality and creative footage. My goal is to make you feel like the most important people in the world with your own personal paparazzi. I like being in the moment with you celebrating as you are celebrating and making sure I capture every moment.
What is your approach to videography?
The most important thing to me is being a pleasure to work with. Not just with my couples, but all the talented vendors you hired to help make your day so special. We are a team that is all working toward the same goal.
Aside from being a pleasure to work with, I take a similar approach as a wedding photographer. Any moment that is worth capturing for a photo, I will be right there getting it on video as well without being a disturbance in any way. I also put a lot of emphasis on capturing high-quality audio for speeches, vowels, and the ceremony as that is half the viewing experience!
Do you offer drone video coverage?
Yes, drone coverage is an excellent add-on for any wedding film. Generally, I will film your venue location, but I can also take any special drone requests as long as the weather is permitting and the area is safe to fly per FAA guidelines.
