Tell us a little bit about your business.

Tasty Bakery specializes in wedding cakes that range from sweet and simple to elaborate and intricate. We love being able to offer couples the freedom to choose their design, or create a new design they have in mind. Tasty Bakery was founded by myself, Beverly Green, in 2016. I started working out of my home, then out of my sister’s basement, and now have a fully equipped professional kitchen in Murrysville, PA. I have such a passion for wedding cakes, so trust me when I say I want to make your cake as beautiful as you have always imagined it would be. This is the most memorable day of your lives, and you want your wedding cake to be just as memorable, so much so that family and friends will talk about it for years to come.

We don’t just specialize in delicious cakes. We have a wide variety of desserts and bite size items to add to your cookie table that we know your guests will love. Some of our most popular items are our french macarons, mini plated cheesecakes, cake pops, and oatmeal cream pie cookies.

I always wanted people to be able to get the cake of their dreams, while having it taste as good as it looks. I am very proud to say that we have 125+ five star reviews that say just that!

What makes your work unique?

I think my work is so unique because I don’t have just one style of cake design. I am pretty much able to adapt to any mood, style, or Pinterest dream board a couple throws at me. We also travel. There is not a 10-mile radius we stick within; our cakes will make it there safe and sound every time!

What is your ideal client like?

Cake should be the least stressful part about planning a wedding. Our ideal client is laid back in the sense that they trust us to be completely professional while we take care of all things cake on the most important day of their life. The last thing they should be worried about is the main centerpiece of their wedding reception. It stresses us out when our couples are stressed out about their cake!

How do you work with couples to bring their dessert dreams to life?

From the beginning of the process, myself or my very knowledgeable assistant Amanda will meet with each and every couple one-on-one. This gives us plenty of time to talk over their dream cake and get every detail exactly how they want. We get to know them and the vibe they are wanting for their wedding day, which is really helpful throughout the whole process. They get to see display cakes in person, which we think is very helpful if they are wondering about size, height, etc. We also have a lot of our rentable cake stands on display, which again is helpful to see in person instead of just an online picture.
