Tell us a little bit about your business.

We’re Matthew and Chrissy, the husband-and-wife team behind Sal & Bella Weddings. As Pittsburgh-based wedding photographers and high school sweethearts, we wanted our business name to reflect both our Italian roots and our playful personalities – a little nod to family, heritage, and the joy we bring to every celebration.

We’ve been married for 17 years and have three amazing kids. Our life is full, loud, and more beautiful than we ever imagined. Over the past 16 years, we’ve captured more than 380 weddings – and some days, we still wonder how time moves so fast!

We’re here to not only deliver exceptional images but also to give you an unforgettable experience. It’s our honor and privilege as a married team to capture and witness your first day as a married team.

No heavy filters, no trendy edits that will feel outdated in a few years, just great lighting, real colors, and sharp photos you’ll be proud to show off forever.

As a husband and wife team, we bring a balanced perspective, making sure both partners feel confident, seen, and celebrated. We know how to guide you into natural poses that flatter your best angles without ever feeling stiff or awkward. We keep up with the trends, but we’re not chasing them. Our work strikes that perfect balance where it’s modern enough to feel current, classic enough to stand the test of time.

heart and the people you love most.

What is your ideal client like?

We’re high school sweethearts ourselves and got married young, so you might think we’d say our ideal clients are couples just like us. But that’s the beauty of this job: our couples come from all walks of life.

Our ideal couple is someone who truly connects with our work. When we walk into the getting-ready space, it should feel like we’re friends. That’s when we know it’s a great fit.

We’ve celebrated love in hometown churches steeped in tradition, grand ballrooms at private clubs passed down through generations, under open skies on Florida beaches, and in the mountains of North Carolina. Whether you’re planning something classic, modern, or totally unexpected, we’re here for it.

We believe in blending thoughtful planning with a natural, easygoing vibe. We guide you gently to feel comfortable and look your best, while staying organized behind the scenes to keep your day running smoothly. We want you to love your day!

Chrissy focuses on capturing the heartfelt emotions and genuine connections between you, your loved ones, and everyone sharing your day. It’s those authentic moments that make your wedding truly unique. Matthew brings his creativity and a love for candid shots, always looking for fresh angles and genuine interactions that tell your unique story.

Together, we try to be unobtrusive so you can be fully present and enjoy every moment without feeling overly staged or rushed, but we’re always ready to step in and guide you whenever you need a little direction.
