Tell me a little bit about your business!
Between the two of us, Poppy Events has over 15 years of wedding planning experience and familiarity with the wedding and event industry. We not only provide wedding planning services, but we also offer month-of coordination, proposal planning, corporate event planning, galas, and small social events, such as showers and small dinners. We are also very passionate about non-profit involvement.
What makes your work unique?
Because of our experience with various venues and trends in and around Pittsburgh, we consider ourselves experts in the field. With Christine’s knowledge and expertise in food and beverage, paired with Katy’s design skills, the two of us are a force to be reckoned with. On top of that, our organizational skills and coordination methods are very much the same. A match made in heaven!

How do you work with couples to bring their wedding dreams to life?
We LISTEN! We get to know BOTH of their personalities and their wishes. Once we know the feeling and emotion they would like to convey throughout their wedding day, we provide all the options available, regardless of the budget. Many times, we end up with a hybrid of what they were looking for as well as a few surprises suggested by us.
