Oliver Lettering Co. focuses on creating meaningful, calligraphy-driven touches from live engraving experiences for guests and bespoke wedding keepsakes to hand-lettered signage.Oliver Lettering Co. was founded on designing day-of signage and has since then evolved into much more. With calligraphy engraving growing in popularity, I began exploring engraving and the interactive experience it offers to guests and clients. Although I do still offer day-of signage and other calligraphy details, engraving has become my most popular service. My work continues to focus on creating intentional, sustainable, one-of-a-kind pieces – whether it’s engraving your wedding day fragrance bottles, crafting special keepsakes for your wedding party, or giving your guest an interactive experience with a personalized favor that won’t get left on the table at the end of the night. My goal is to make your wedding details feel unforgettable and beautiful.

What makes your work unique?
I specialize in both calligraphy and engraving, which allows me to create art-driven pieces across a couple’s entire wedding experience – from the proposal to the milestones and anniversaries that follow after the I dos.
My writing is entirely my own. Since every item is done by hand, no two letters are the same – giving each custom sign or gift a look that cannot be duplicated. While fonts can be fun, my hand-lettering gives your wedding keepsakes, favors and/or signage a timeless, elegant look.

What is your ideal client like?
My ideal client appreciates the art of calligraphy and how it can add a unique human experience that computers and fonts cannot. I love a client whose love language is gift giving.
Type A vs. Type B? I appreciate clients from both ends of the spectrum – the ones who know exactly what they want and the ones that give me full artistic freedom or need some direction in how to make their guest experience unforgettable. If you’re a client that likes to take the lead, I love that. If you need some assistance in pulling your vision together or curating your desired experience for your guests, I also love that. This is your day and I want you to have as much or as little of a hand in as you’d like.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding dreams to life?
I collaborate closely with couples to get an understanding of their vision, aesthetic, and the feeling they want their guests to experience. Most of my initial communication is done through email (via my website or Instagram) where I gather essential information like wedding date, venue, and the type of service they are interested in. If emailing isn’t their favorite, I’m not afraid of a phone call, Zoom call, or coffee date. From there, I guide them through design options, materials, and creative possibilities.
If a couple is looking for an interactive experience for their guests and isn’t sure what to offer, we start by discussing their wedding vibe and their personalities. Is there something from the way they met or their occupations or hobbies that they can tie into this experience for their guests so that it feels “on brand” for them? If not, I have plenty of ideas and suggestions that will give the guests an experience they will all be talking about after the big day. From here, if necessary, we do a sample trial of items they would like to have personalized to ensure everything is seamless for their wedding day. I like to discuss engraving/embossing station details and display so that the workflow is easy for guests while still tying in with the rest of the couple’s decor.
If a couple is looking for personalized gifts for their fiancé, family, or wedding party, my goal is to make it as convenient as possible. Most items can be ordered for me to pick up locally or, if shopping online, can be shipped directly to me to personalize.
Whether I am designing custom mirror signage or personalizing gifts, my focus is to bring a unique, intimate touch to their special day by transforming ordinary items. For me, it isn’t just about giving their guests something to take home at the end of the night – it’s about elevating the couple’s and the guests’ celebration.
