Olive & Rose Events is a boutique wedding and event planning company specializing in creating unique and memorable events for those couples who believe their wedding day should reflect their own personal style. My team and I offer a range of services from Full Planning to Month-Of Coordination to Design and Decor Direction. I have over eight years experience planning a variety of events including weddings, social celebrations, networking events, and non-profit fundraisers.
What makes your work unique?
My couples mean the world to me and their happiness is my #1 priority. As we work together, I want my couples to come to think of me as a friend and have total confidence that I will execute their dream wedding. My team will be taking care of everything behind the scenes so that our couples don’t have a single stress on their big day. My background in both fashion and business lends itself perfectly to the event planning world. I have an eye for design, but also know the importance of working within a budget and delivering high quality services to clients.
With the Full Planning Package, each couple not only works with an experienced planner, but they also get access to one of the team’s amazing event designers. Couples can think of this person as their own personal “Pinterest Guru” – making those curated boards come to life! I also offer some pretty unique packages including our Final Prep Package for those couples that may not have the budget for an on-site planner, but would still like help with a timeline and last minute advice before the wedding day.
What is your ideal client like?
The ideal Olive & Rose client has a sense of style, a big heart, and isn’t afraid to step outside the box when it comes to planning. I believe there are no “rules” when it comes to weddings and that each should be a unique reflection of the couple, their traditions, and their personal love story.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding dreams to life?
I have an initial consultation with the couple to cover everything from how they met to the proposal to what they’ve been pinning on Pinterest. My team wants to walk away with not only a sense of the couple’s vision for their wedding day, but also who they are as people. From there, the fun begins! Having worked in the Pittsburgh event world for years, I have unique connections with some of the top vendors in the city. I match my couples with the vendors that best fit their style as well as their budget. When couples choose full planning, they get to work with one of the team’s event designers. These ladies are the behind-the-scenes creative geniuses. Their unique backgrounds in fashion, interior design, blogging, and styling allow us to collectively pull design ideas from many different places.
