Tell us a little bit about your business.
Newly Weds Design PGH first began when my husband and I decided to create all of the signage for our own wedding in May 2024. As a former educator, I have always found joy in creating fun and engaging designs that are eye catching. I decided to use my design skills to make our dream wedding signage come to life. Countless friends and relatives commented, “Where are your wedding signs from? They are so beautiful!” My husband and I thought that maybe this hobby could be something much larger. What started as making wedding signs in our living room, has quickly become a sustainable business. In the first year, we were able to create signage for over 100 weddings in the Pittsburgh area and expanded our outreach nationwide on Etsy. Newly Weds Design PGH is a female-founded and owned business that offers unique signage options for weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties and more! We would absolutely love to be a part of your special day!

All of our rental items have been handpicked with the “Wow!” factor in mind. We want your wedding signage to stand out no matter the space. Therefore, our extensive inventory offers a unique collection of vintage style pieces that stand out at any venue. Another aspect that makes Newly Weds Design PGH stand apart from the others is that we offer pieces for purchase along with a wide range of rental options. Whether you are looking for an ornate mirror that has a vintage feel, or a sleek modern acrylic sign to welcome your wedding guests, we got you covered! What is your ideal client like?
Wedding planning should be fun! While planning a wedding is a ton of work, our goal is to make the planning process for your wedding day signage needs exciting and stress-free. Whether you are in need of design inspiration, or have a complete vision in mind, I would love to work with you to make that vision come to life. My dream clients are open to communicating and working together to create signage that is worth the extra look. I especially love a couple that has a theme for their wedding day signage. I enjoy piecing items together that are cohesive and match.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding dreams to life?
We recognize that wedding planning is not an easy task, so we try to make our process as simple as possible. When a couple or wedding planner reaches out to me, I like to gather as much information as possible. Once I learn a bit about what the couple is looking for as a part of their signage vision, I start to put together my recommendations of pieces to bring the vision to life.

Once the pieces are chosen, it is time to mock up designs, which is my favorite part of the design process! I love to create new designs based on inspiration sent by my clients, but I also love to remake my past designs for new clients as well.
Ideally, we begin the design process with couples at least six months from the wedding date, but we are able accommodate couples with a quicker timeline as well. Booking early will allow you to have first picks on the items that you are hoping to reserve if you plan on renting pieces from our collection. Once the designs have been created, you are welcome to pick them up, or we can deliver in and near Pittsburgh for an additional convenience fee. Newly Weds Design PGH is based in Mount Lebanon, just south of the city.
