Tell us a little bit about your business.
As the owner of Michael Will Photographers, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings and they never get old. Every wedding and couple is a new story and new experience! I want to make this process fun for my couples and tell their story in the most authentic way possible.
Let’s talk! I want to hear your story and make the most incredible photos for you!
What makes your work unique?
Honestly, I just care more.
I care about how you look! I’m talking hand placement, posture, angles, flattering poses. I’m even looking to see whether or not there is crumpled up paper on the floor and if it will be distracting. That’s the crazy level of amazing photos I want you to have.
I care about the finished product! I know these photos will last for generations. Your grandkids are going to be looking at your wedding album. I want them to say, “Damn, Grandma and Grandpa were rockstars!”
Think about the whole story of the day. I want your images to flow from moments to details to beautiful, timeless portraits and all of the wild and crazy in between.
We edit each photo for consistency and longevity. There are trends in photo editing (remember sepia?). The Instagram filter editing of today with washed out skin tones and no respect for color will seem very dated in only a couple years. That said, a classic black and white or color image from the 50s still looks great. It’s timeless! I deliver heirloom quality images that will pass the test of time.
What is your ideal client like?
Someone who appreciates good photography and trusts me to deliver!
What is your approach to photography?
Colorful, artistic, emotion-packed images – in a beautiful, editorial style!
I want my clients to look amazing in their photos and have a blast. I’m also making sure we’re documenting the moments, family, and guests. You want beautiful images from your wedding, but you also want to remember the moments. Pictures that make you smile, make you laugh, make you wonder, and make you feel all tingly inside – those are the pictures you want to keep. The ones you will cherish forever.
