Tell me a little bit about your business!
Legacy Films was launched in 2017 by me (Emily here!) and my husband, Chris. Over the last few years, we’ve filmed almost 150 weddings and would be honored to work with you. Our team has recently grown to accommodate even more weddings and leave more legacies. The term “legacy” means a lot to us; family is number one in our lives! You don’t always get a “do-over” on big events and moments with loved ones and you should have the luxury of enjoying it, in the moment! Have you ever looked at your grandparents’ wedding photos and thought about how different things were back then? Preserving those wedding memories – leaving your legacy – is the best gift you can give your future generation.
What makes your work unique?
If you’ve ever read about the five love languages, you’ll understand completely how Legacy Films came to be. I receive in words and actions but give in gifts and words. I’ve always had an affinity for meaningful words and quotes. For each wedding, I am thinking about what words and interactions might mean the most to the couple throughout the day. Those are the moments that we turn into the “gift” of their wedding film. We want you to be able to relive the words and emotions that you experienced on your wedding day time and time again.
What is your ideal client like?
Authentic, real people with authentic, real stories. We want to know YOU – how you met, how and where you got engaged, what you like to do, what makes you happy, and the names of your pets.
What is your approach to videography?
I like to call our style “authentically cinematic.” We want your wedding film to represent YOU. We love it when our couples have their own style.
Do you offer drove video coverage?
Sure do! Since 2017, before it was cool!
