Hey there! I’m Kristy, and the owner of Kristy Olivia Photography. My love of photography began as a child, pouring over old National Geographic magazines, and it’s only grown stronger over time. Almost 12 years ago, I leaped and started my own full-time business, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Photography has always been a creative outlet for me, a way to connect with people and the world around me. It’s made me a bit of a student of life and relationships. I adore capturing both the big, joyful moments and the quiet, subtle ones that often go unnoticed. I’m the photographer who gets excited about planning with you, cries with you, and joins in the celebration on the dance floor. What makes your work unique?
My work is unique because I blend my background in photojournalism with fun, spontaneous moments that capture real emotions and moments. I focus on reflecting on my clients’ personalities, mixing traditional portraits with carefree energy. My editing style is a mix of moody and true-to-life tones, which adds a romantic vibe.
What is your ideal client like?
My ideal client is someone who trusts me to help make their wedding day truly magical. I love building a connection with my couples, and it’s not uncommon for us to leave a session feeling like friends. I’m all about creating genuine relationships so I can capture my couple’s day in the most authentic way possible.
What is your approach to photography?
I have a very laid-back approach to photography, but I also know when to step in to make your images perfect. My goal is always to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourself, and most importantly, to have fun. When it comes to your wedding day, I’ll be there every step of the way, making sure you have everything you need and that your day goes smoothly.
