Tell me a little bit about your business!
I have been in business sine 2014, when I photographed my first solo wedding, among other sessions. But this journey started long before that. In high school, I took my first film photography course and continued studying photography at Penn State. After college, I took a slight detour into corporate America and started slowly building a business of my own on the side. A few years in, I realized being at a corporate job was not the life I imagined. I started really growing my business with the hopes of finding happiness in my career.
In 2016, I took the biggest leap of my life by quitting my desk job and deciding it was time to shape my own future with Jeannine Bonadio Photography. Everyday, I am excited to work and it truly doesn’t feel like a job. I love what I do and the people I get to connect with.
What makes your work unique?
I think what makes my work unique is my clients! No wedding is the same and that is what I love about photographing weddings. I am there to tell their individual love story. I am truly honored to capture all of the emotion, hard work, and tradition that goes into their big day.
It’s all about connection and I highly encourage meeting before deciding I am the right fit. I want my clients to feel comfortable and excited to have me join them on the big day.
What is your ideal client like?
Sweats + Netflix as much as high heels + craft cocktails; chats over coffee like we have known each other for years; loves cute notebooks; longs to eat her way through every new destination she visits; and stops to pet every dog she sees.
What is your approach to photography?
I like to think my style is timeless and classic and I love a good black and white image. I will absolutely help guide you to beautiful light and pose you when needed. But mostly, I want to document the moments as they happen and capture the true emotions of your day.
I edit in the simple, classic, and timeless style, not overly edited because I just want to enhance what is already there. I stay true to the colors and vibe of your day.
