Tell us a little bit about your business.
My name is Marsha, and I am the owner of Here For The Cookie Table. I have always been a creative and artistic person. When my daughter was getting married, my goal was to give her a beautiful piece of art in the form of a cookie table at her wedding. I did just that, but at the same time realized that the 4+ hours spent on the day of the wedding (even with help) was something that no mother, family member, or friend should have to do. It added stress and exhaustion to the day. At the end of the night when it had to be cleaned up, I was so tired and it took away from all the joy we had experienced during the evening. That was the moment I decided that I wanted to take that stress off of the couples and families and make their visions come to life for them! I want them to truly enjoy every moment of such a special day.
Not only do we create the table of your dreams, we return at the end of the night to package up any remaining cookies for the family to take home and we clean up the full display. What makes your work unique?
Our work is unique because we have over 10,000 pieces to create our displays. We can work with any theme or vibe that our couples have chosen for their wedding. If our couple has a fresh new idea that has not been done before, we embrace their wishes and happily add to our collection to create the perfect table to complement their decor. Our team treats every wedding as if it was our own, leaving no detail undone.
What is your ideal client like?
Our ideal client is the couple that wants their cookie table to become part of the wedding decor and be a focal point in the room. Our tables are not just cookies on platters; they are showpieces that include a great deal of thought and design.
How do you work with couples to bring their dessert dreams to life?
In true Pittsburgh cookie table tradition, our clients provide the cookies and desserts baked by family members, local bakeries, or home bakers. We do not provide any of the cookies or desserts. Our focus is to take their desserts and display them in a way that their guests will be talking about for a long time after the wedding.
