Ever since I was a little girl, I loved everything about art and design. I loved drawing, painting and sculpting. There was no doubt that I wanted to pursue a career in design. After all, it was my first love. For years, I built my career creating a new brand for a high end grocery retailer, but as the years passed I couldn’t help yearning for something more.
It wasn’t until I created the stationery for my own wedding that something inside me just clicked. Combining my love for design with one of the most intimate and important events of my life completely changed and energized me. This was what I was yearning for – the connection that comes from creating something meaningful and deeply personal. And that is how Hello Beautiful Designs was born!
What makes your work unique?
Our stationery suites are unique because they are a reflection of the beautiful couple on their special day. Every design element has a story and a reason and is tailored specifically to the couple. We include exceptional details such as illustrations of the church or reception site, a picture of their beloved pup on signage, or we add a personal touch in the envelope liners. We love getting to know our clients, hearing their story, and showcasing their love in this time-honored tradition of wedding invitations.
What is your ideal client like?
We enjoy working with all couples! We feel honored to be part of your special day and reflecting your story throughout your wedding stationery. We are up for the challenge of helping our couples narrow down the endless possibilities of invitations and we love working with couples who know exactly what they want.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding paper dreams to life?
We take the time to sit down with our couples and hear about their wedding day – from venue, colors, dresses, floral, and their overall wedding day style. We then talk about their ideas for invitations. Maybe you want a beautiful, traditional invitation, or maybe you want something bold and modern! Together, we look through designs, discussing your favorite papers, fonts, design elements, colors, and folds. This is also a great time to ask questions about wording, etiquette, and what information to provide in your stationery suite. After our consultation, I am excited to start the design process, creating something unique for our couples!
We provide a few different design options from the beginning, based on our consultation, and share those designs with you. We can mix, match, and make revisions until we create the most perfect wedding suite! From there, we design corresponding day-of wedding elements, such as ceremony programs, dinner menus, escort cards, seating charts, signage, table numbers, and more. We love nothing more than helping our clients have one cohesive design that becomes your custom wedding brand.
