I’ve always had a deep passion for creativity and artistic expression. When my husband and I first got engaged, I was beyond excited to design and create all the signage for my own wedding. That experience sparked something even bigger – a growing passion for crafting meaningful, hand-lettered pieces specifically for weddings and events. And so, CalligraBre Sign Co. was born!

I fell in love with the timeless charm that vintage and ornate mirrored signage brought to an event, and started my own collection of pieces to rent to couples. CalligraBre Sign Co. is now a one-stop-shop for all wedding and event signage needs. Whether you’re looking to rent mirrors, need hand-lettering on your own items, or want custom acrylic signs, scrolls, place cards, or other decorative elements – I’ve got you covered.

Today, CalligraBre Sign Co. is a proudly woman-owned, sustainable, and inclusive business serving the greater Pittsburgh area. My mission is simple – to bring your vision to life and help make your special day more beautiful than you ever imagined.

What makes your work unique?

As a self-taught “lefty”, I pour heart and soul into every single piece I create. Each sign is lettered completely freehand – no stencils, no tracing – which means no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Just like you and your partner, your wedding signage should be one-of-a-kind.

What also sets CalligraBre Sign Co. apart is our exclusive Full-Service Wedding Rental Package – the only one of its kind offered by a small business in the Pittsburgh area. This package includes everything you need for your big day: a seating chart, welcome sign, one medium sign, two small signs, a card box, and table numbers. All rentals come complete with custom hand-lettering, easels and stands, and full delivery, set up, and teardown at your venue.

In addition to our signature mirrored signage, CalligraBre now offers customizable acrylic signs, tailored to complement your wedding color palette perfectly. Whether you’re drawn to the elegance of mirrors or the modern touch of acrylic, the design possibilities are truly endless!

What is your ideal client like?

My dream clients are excited, friendly, and kind – with a soft spot for handmade details and a good pun (bonus points if you smiled at my business name!).

I pour a lot of heart and time into creating each piece, and because every sign is handwritten, you’ll notice the charm of little imperfections. If you’re looking for machine-perfect lettering or cookie cutter designs, we might not be the best fit. But if you want something truly one-of-a-kind that stands out from the typical wedding signage, I’m your girl!

I never trace or use computer-generated fonts – all of my lettering is done freehand in my signature style. That’s what makes CalligraBre Sign Co. so unique and personal.
