Tell us a little bit about your business.
Growing up, designing was my passion. That sounds kind of cliche, but I was the neighborhood kid with her own newsletter that I designed on my parent’s old computer. I was always looking for a reason to celebrate or design. Now, I’m all grown up and I’m still always looking for reasons to throw confetti and design a great invitation.
When my husband, Ben, proposed to me, I noticed that there was a huge gap in the design industry when it came to wedding stationery. Nothing felt personalized or custom to us and I was frustrated at the lack of options available. Because of my design background, I decided to design my own wedding stationery. Starting in 2008, I shifted my focus to designing wedding stationery instead of print design and from there Blush Paper Co. was born.
