Tell me a little bit about your business!
I have always loved the beauty world, but also the creative world. I was able to combine the two with Artistry by Emily and it has been a dream come true. My main focus is weddings and beautiful brides. I do venture out in the off-season to do boudoir, head shots, and anything else I can do to be creative.
What makes your work unique?
My work is knowing every single person in my chair is beautiful already; I’m just here to enhance that. I’m not one who does a lot of before and after photos. I don’t think a woman needs a full face of makeup to feel and look beautiful!
What is your ideal client like?
I’d say any client who reaches out to me! They’ve seen something they like in my work and that’s awesome. Ideal clients are anyone who wants to feel beautiful or empowered on a special day.
How do you determine what look a client is going for?
I love details! Show me your dress, jewelry, accessories, the venue, etc. Seeing what they have chosen for these things really helps to pull it all together. Photos of looks they love and even looks they don’t really help decide what the final look will be.
