Tell me a little bit about your business!
Angela Pro Design is a stationery design studio specializing in wedding invitations and day-of stationery. I’ve always been obsessed with two things: paper and weddings. So, this was an obvious career choice for me! I get to constantly meet amazing, new people while creating beautiful things for one of the happiest days of their lives. I mean, seriously, how lucky am I?!
I’ve been a graphic designer for over a decade. Over the years, I’ve worked in many areas of design including web design and branding, but stationery design has always had my heart. I love exploring different fonts and color combinations, whether a couple wants to explore modern trends or go with a timeless design.
What makes your work unique?
My background is pretty diverse. I have experience in everything from branding to digital illustration and beyond. I pull from my knowledge in all of these areas when working with a client on branding their wedding. Wearing many hats has also left me with an invaluable list of resources and awesome connections. Whether your vision for your wedding stationery includes a custom monogram, foil stamping, or something else – I’m your girl!
What is your ideal client like?
My ideal client has been gathering inspiration and already has a pretty good idea of what they like. Having a Pinterest board dedicated to their wedding style is always helpful. When a client knows what they like, we can dive into the fun stuff right away – like choosing papers and creating the actual design. Some clients aren’t sure what they like, and that’s ok too! I usually suggest these clients browse the pre-made designs on my website for inspiration, and we go from there.
How do you work with couples to bring their wedding paper dreams to life?
The single most important thing to me is that my clients enjoy this process from beginning to end. I want you to have fun! Your wedding paper process should be an exciting, joyful, stress-free experience. I love meeting with clients, hearing their story, and diving right into their design over a cup of coffee. I’m happy to assist with questions regarding etiquette and formalities, but my overall advice to couples is to just “do you”. Go with what you’re drawn to and what you love. Make it personal. It’s the most amazing moment when a couple sees the final design of their wedding paper for the first time, and they’re swooning with hearts in their eyes because “it’s PERFECT!”
