Tell me a little bit about your business!
Madeline Jane Photography is about more than just pretty photos; it's about the legacy of love that continues long after your wedding day! I, Madeline, started photographing weddings in 2008, my junior year of high school! I studied photography at Point Park University and have been growing my business ever since. My primary focus is wedding and engagement photography.
What makes your work unique? Why should brides and grooms hire you?
My work is bright and joyful with big smiles and heartfelt laughs. It's timeless, colorful, and crisp. I love capturing real candid moments between couples and their families.
My client experience is also hugely important to me. I want my couples to know and trust that they are in good hands. I've put together an extensive bridal guide that each couple gets. It's full of tons of information from engagement session tips to wedding day timelines and how to decide if a first look is right for them. I'm here every step of the way and want to feel like an old friend by the time the wedding day rolls around!
What is your ideal client like?
My ideal clients are adventurous, lighthearted, and outgoing! They take their investment in photography seriously, but aren't afraid to go off the beaten path for beautiful portraits. I love working for couples who break the traditional wedding mold and make their day totally unique to them!
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is more relaxed and laid back with minimal posing, focusing on the real relationship between my couples. It's bright, vivid, and timeless.
What emotions do you think your images evoke?
I strive for my images to convey the joy felt around such an exciting time for a couple and their family. My hope is that years after the wedding a couple will look back and see the love, joy, and excitement felt on that day.
What is your approach to editing?
My approach to editing is bright, vivid, and clear. I want your photos to pop after they've been hung in your home.
What other items do you offer?
I offer a variety of leather albums, metal prints, canvases, and paper prints.
