Submission Requirements


  • All photos must have been professionally taken. Our audience wants to see your images in all of their high resolution, JPG glory. Trust us, those pictures will really shine if they’re at least 1600 pixels wide/across with 72 dpi.
  • Please make sure your gallery includes at least 150 images for weddings, 75 for styled shoots, and 50 for engagement sessions, proposals, and wedding showers.
  • Do not submit your session until you have received the full gallery from the photographer. Preview galleries or images cannot be considered.
  • Wedding and styled shoot galleries should be heavily focused on detail shots.
  • Photographers, to allow for the greatest SEO impact, please do not code image names.
  • While not a requirement, beautiful videos will make your submission stand out from the crowd. As with the photos, these must have been professionally taken.
  • No watermarks or photo collages. Your photos are happiest on our website and social media feeds without them.


  • If your submission is accepted, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire. Vendors, please obtain written permission from both the photographer and the couple before submitting their session.
  • Pittsburgh is home to countless swoon-worthy weddings. We receive a lot of wonderful images, so please allow the Burgh Brides team up to two weeks to review and respond to your submission.
  • We adore exclusive, fresh content. But, we will accept a fabulous session even if it has already been featured on another blog. However, it is your responsibility to ensure the other blog’s exclusivity guidelines are followed.
  • While we do accept content from non-advertising wedding vendors, priority consideration and scheduling is given to Burgh Brides Vendor Guide members.
  • We typically feature one wedding per week, as well as one engagement session and one styled shoot per month. Therefore, our publication time frame is currently at least ten months. We do not release publication dates in advance.
