Pine cones, evergreens, and faux fur wraps…woodsy wintery details come alive in today’s Omni Bedford Springs wedding. A glistening icy blue color palette was perfect for this chilly celebration that took place just three days after Christmas. There was no better display of this seasonal shade than in the bridesmaids’ dresses. Sarah’s maids wore a variety of styles – all from BHLDN – that encompassed sequins, beading, and an array of necklines for a look that was cohesive yet unique. After a super sweet first look with her dad, the bride meet her beau at the end of the altar wearing a fabulous Jenny Yoo ballgown with lace bodice and sleeves from Blanc de Blanc Bridal. The newlyweds traipsed around the resort with Wild Native Photography, taking gorgeous portraits and soaking up all that winter golden sun. Their ballroom reception was kissed with a hint of nature thanks to Stems by Syd. The florist infused pine cones, dried citrus slices, evergreen branches, hearty magnolia leaves, dried lotus pods, moss, and funky woodland animals into their centerpieces. No detail was left unturned thanks to Olive & Rose Events, who oversaw the entire celebration. If winter is your favorite season, you’re bound to get all shook up over this one!
About the Couple
We met through my sister in 2013! We were together just over six years when Brandon proposed during a family vacation on the rooftop at sunset!
About the Wedding
The wedding was three days after Christmas at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. We didn’t want our wedding to scream “Christmas” so we went with a wintery woodlands feel with winter birds and dried fruit as accents. Our colors were silvery blue with greenery.
Favorite Moment
Seeing it all come together as perfectly as it did with all the help of our vendors! Every moment of the day was so much fun and we just loved spending the weekend at the resort with friends and family!
