Rustic and romantic, we’re here to profess our love for Madyson and Jordan’s wedding at Nemacolin. While a plethora of earth tones made up the wedding day details, guests were invited to the couple’s ceremony and reception with a timeless black and white stationery suite created by Loree Mayer Design. Little did guests know that they would be going to an event that Mother Nature would love. To achieve the desired look of a growing garden, fresh yet funky florals were intertwined into gold chiavari chairs for the ceremony, with geometric vases placed nearby. It was the perfect setting for Madyson to walk down the aisle in her Monique Llullier wedding gown from Anne Gregory Couture. After an exchange of vows in a spiritual yet laid back ceremony, it was off to celebrate. Single bud vases serving as escort cards lead guests to tables where large leafy centerpieces spewed from tall vases. Greenery clung to the ceiling and beams above the dance floor and only enhanced the organic aesthetic, of which Laurel Mountain Photography was able to use to frame these incredible photos that are enchanting us with all the forest vibes!
About the Couple
Jordan and I met in seventh grade English class. Growing up together, we were best friends leading up to our senior year when he asked me to be his prom date. Both of us went out of the state for college, meeting up for ice cream during summer breaks and maintaining our friendship. Once I moved back up to Pittsburgh for graduate school, Jordan asked me out on a date and our friendship blossomed into the most fun-loving relationship full of laughter, support, and lots of travel.
About the Wedding
The theme and inspiration for our wedding was whimsical woodland. It was romantic and captured the essence of an overgrown garden.
Favorite Moment
Our favorite part of our wedding was our ceremony! It was the perfect mix of spiritual, laid back, and romantic. Our officiant did a wonderful job at creating a ceremony that was uniquely ours.
