This one’s for the girls! Playful elegance is unveiled in this enchanting whimsical wedding shower styled shoot. Orchestrated by SK Events at the picturesque Fern Hollow Nature Center, this editorial came to life with the help of Windswept Entertainment & Event Rentals transforming a field into an event space, Aycho Melange tantalizing us with delectable desserts, and the talented eye of Sarah McCloskey Photography capturing every magical moment through her lens. The color palette of blush, coral, fuchsia, misty blue, and gilded accents set the tone for a celebration that was both playful and elegant. The outdoor setup was a feast for the senses, with a table setting adorned with blooming floral centerpieces, coordinating menus, and a mix of satin and velvet textures. A wooden bar beckoned the friends to indulge in macarons and signature cocktails, while a hand-painted bottle of bubbly added a touch of sophistication to the affair. This styled shoot was more than just a gathering – it was a celebration of friendship, love, and the journey to happily ever after. About the Shoot
Fern Hollow Nature Center played host to this shoot, and is a true hidden gem in Sewickley, providing peaceful surroundings and scenic views. It was the perfect backdrop for sipping champagne al fresco. The tablescape overflowed with shades of blush, coral, and fuchsia, complimented by hints of misty blue and gilded accents. The whimsical floral centerpieces designed by Florabelle paired with Windswept’s linens popped against the lush grounds of the venue. For the finer details, Melissa & Seventh designed coordinating menus for each guest, along with personalized scrolls that topped Aycho Melange’s ivory macarons.
The striking wood bar enhanced the natural elements of the outdoors and created a separate place for sips and sweets! At the bar, the girls treated themselves to signature cocktails and a macaron (or several!) from Aycho Melange’s show-stopping dessert tower. With champagne in hand, they watched the bride open her gifts, situated among complementing floral arrangements. Oliver Lettering Co. was commissioned to hand-paint a special bottle of bubbly for the bride-to-be and her favorite girlies to share!
Local stylist Bethany Ebert customized each girl’s look from Revolve, making sure the bride had a little something extra with her hint of pink. Fun, young, and fresh was the order for the hair and makeup team and they nailed it! Jvu’s Hair Studio created loose waves and soft updos, which paired perfectly with Rachel Bongiorni’s flawless glam faces and hot pink lips!
From the all-white attire, rosy-hued color palette and Parisian-inspired details, to the main character energy of these real-life besties, this bridal fete was a total vibe!
