When trying on wedding dresses, you’ll want to wear undergarments that are neutral to your skin tone and that will show as little as possible. A bra isn’t necessary since many wedding dresses contain structural elements, such as boning, padding, corsetry, linings, and interlinings that make wearing a bra unnecessary. If you do choose to wear one, make sure it’s comfortable and breathable. You may want to consider wearing a pair of silicone nipple covers if that makes you feel more comfortable. While shape wear is not needed or required, feel free to bring it or throw it on under your clothes in preparation for your appointment if it’ll make you feel the most beautiful or confident throughout the process. If you are planning on wearing shape wear on your wedding day, it’s best to have it with you so that you can envision and feel the complete look.
Footwear
When heading out the door for you appointment, be sure to wear shoes that you can take on and off easily as you’ll be in and out of dresses for about two hours.
