Dripping in luxury and oozing with romance, this ultra luxe wedding inspired styled shoot designed by Burgh Brides and a team of all star Pittsburgh wedding vendors is not for the faint of heart. With a eye-catching color palette of magenta, emerald green, and gold with hints of black and white, it is bound to turn heads. If the bold hues aren’t enough to catch your attention, the florals certainly will. The Blue Daisy Floral Designs used fresh snapdragons, foxglove, freesia, and garden roses from Schaefer Wholesale Florist to create an elevated centerpiece unlike any other. In the art deco ballroom of Hotel Monaco, this glorious creation sat atop a gold gilded table, which was surrounded by lush green velvet chairs, both from Marbella Event Furniture & Decor Rental. Black and white striped plates, metallic gold flatware, and gold rimmed glassware, all from All Occasions Party Rental, completed the Kate Spade inspired tablescape. While our words just can’t do the finished product justice, we hope these images from Leeann Marie Photography and this video from Post Script Films will. Let the drooling begin!
The highly coveted style did not stop with the details though; our bride and groom looked like they stepped right off the pages of Vogue Magazine. The oh-so-sleek Revel dress from Chosen by One Day and on loan from Bridal Beginning was the perfect fit with its pearl encrusted sleeves and open back. Black satin Bella Belle shoes glittering with pearls and beads, as well as a custom emerald engagement ring designed by Skelton Jewelry, were the most glamorous finishing touches. Glam to Go completed the bride’s look with a faux bob, strong lashes, and a bright berry lip. Our groom paired a custom ivory jacket with white lapels with black tuxedo pants and a black satin tie, all from Surmesur.
Four Oaks Bakery hand-painted a five-tier fondant wedding cake to match the endless fresh florals of this shoot. It sat atop a gold stand and was finished off with a silk ribbon to match the day’s hues. Behind the cake table was a custom printed acrylic display piece from Marbella Event Furniture & Decor Rental. This bore the couple’s initials in a monogram style, as well as the floral print showcased on the stationery.
Many unique features were designed, as we wanted to give couples a source of inspiration they hadn’t already seen. The stationery suite dreamed up by Loree Mayer Design featured a clear invitation. Not to be confused with the current acrylic trend, this translucent paper is much thinner and featured gold edging. A floral envelope liner and laser cut belly band really made the suite pop.
Our ceremony site is ideal for saying “I do” in style. Acrylic set pieces were filled with cascading fresh florals and set flanking the spot where our bride and groom would exchange vows. These provided a breathtaking and unexpected backdrop to the day’s most magical moment.
