If you want to ensure your wedding has a timeless feel, then you’re going to want to take notes from Nikalette and Ryan’s romantic Fox Chapel Golf Club wedding. Nikalette’s Badgely Mischka wedding dress from Bridal Beginning kick-started the wedding day vibe she envisioned by embodying all the traits she admired. While the mermaid silhouette of her gown gave it a trendy touch, the embroidered lace was truly classic. With a romantic chignon updo by Simply Captivating Salon to complete her look, the blushing bride was ready to walk down the aisle to her beau – but only after the two shared a sweet first look together! Following the exchange of vows and rings from Orr’s Jewelers, it was time to celebrate! With guidance from expert wedding planner Hello Productions, the beauty of the reception space was enhanced with amazing detail. Blossoms by Jilliann filled the ballroom with summery floral arrangements in shades of pink, peach, and ivory. Lendable Linens added subtle texture and color through perfectly placed table linens. Vintage Alley Rentals provided charismatic decor that charmed everyone with its beauty. And of course we can’t forget to mention how Purple Wagon Designs set the tone of the celebration with a stationery suite that truly stands the test of time. Despite what you may think, a look as classic as this doesn’t come easy. But thanks to Jeannine Bonadio Photography and Dana Lynn Photos we’re able to show you just how Nikalette and Ryan pulled off one effortlessly beautiful celebration!

About the Couple
Ryan and I first met through mutual friends. To our surprise, we realized we lived on the same street! We quickly became close friends, however, we didn’t start dating until the time was right. After nine years of being inseparable, we got engaged. I planned a surprise getaway for Ryan’s 30th birthday at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. Little did I know, he had an even bigger and better surprise planned for me once we got there. Ryan proposed right in front of the fountain, surrounded by an abundance of bright chrysanthemums and the fall foliage. I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect!

About the Wedding
I knew from the start I wanted our wedding to be timeless and romantic with a subtle modern feel. My wedding dress captured all of these elements through its mermaid fit paired with lace detailing. From there, I found a the perfect shade of blush/taupe bridesmaid dresses that complimented my bridal gown so well and inspired my color palette. Since our wedding took place in the summer, the key notes of the palette included fresh florals with soft tones of pink, cream, peach, and subtle pops of blue. The combination of dreamy dahlias, roses, white anemone, and tweedia enhanced every aspect of the wedding design. I really wanted the florals to steal the show and pop! We used a lot of acrylic and muted gold accents to preserve the bright and airy space. Fox Chapel Golf Club is such stunning venue that I truly felt made our wedding unique – from the enchanting balcony entrance to the sunlit, glass ceiling atrium. The fountain amplified the outdoor, garden feel embellished with florals. Last but not least, the gorgeous terrace that overlooked the greens was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more!

Favorite Moment
Our favorite moment of the day was finally being able to say “I do” at the altar surrounded by our family and close friends. After nine years of dating and two years engaged, we couldn’t wait a second longer! It truly was a moment we will cherish forever.
