With its neutral color palette, floral arrangements filled with roses and greenery, and all-over classic vibes, Ashley and Luke’s Circuit Center wedding is one that will certainly stand the test of time. Seamlessly layered with clean lines and trendy touches, their July celebration began with chic looks for the bride and her bridesmaids. Ashley dazzled in a simple yet stunning Jenny Yoo sheath dress with a gemstone belt, while her besties wore an effortlessly beautiful shade of taupe. After a ceremony at Saint Paul Cathedral, the couple took some truly epic portraits with the city skyline in the background before heading to the South Side Pittsburgh wedding venue to ring in their newly minted titles of Mr. & Mrs. Centerpieces filled with warm candlelight atop ivory linens, gold chiavari chairs, an understated three-tiered wedding cake from Bethel Bakery, and, of course, a Pittsburgh cookie table all had the room dazzling. Leeann Marie Photography was there to capture not only these sleek details, but the fun memories too. Thankfully, we’ve got the snapshots to share and they prove just how beautiful this day really was!

About the Couple
We first met in a chemistry lab freshman year at Penn State. We met again sophomore year at a mutual friend’s Halloween party where we reconnected, became Facebook friends, and took a few pictures together. But the love story didn’t begin there. The third time was the charm for us after we met again at the Gaff, a karaoke bar, our senior year and immediately hit it off.
Penn State holds a special place in our hearts because this is where our love story began. It is only fitting that we started our next chapter where we met…at the Gaff! The plan was for both of our families to head to Penn State for the basketball showdown between OSU and PSU. There was a big snow storm coming through and I didn’t know if my parents would make it. Little did I know, my parents had actually come the night before. On Saturday morning, Luke and I planned to meet Luke’s brother at a “new breakfast place”. We parked and started walking towards this new breakfast place (that didn’t actually exist), when Luke stopped me right in front of the Gaff. We relived the beginning of our love story when Luke got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I obviously said yes! We headed to the Lion Shrine to take a few pictures. Our families were there, ready to celebrate us. It was one of the best days of our lives!

About the Wedding
My style is elegant and timeless with a hint of trendy. I’ve always loved a clean, sleek look. I think the color choices and simplicity really went along with this.
