With both gorgeous outdoor scenery AND a rustic barn backdrop, this Succop Nature Park engagement session really is the best of both worlds. For her pre-wedding pictures with John, Julie wanted a setting that was both picturesque and reminded her of the drive to her grandparent’s house. The sprawling grounds and restored farm structures of Succop delivered, giving this couple the exact vibe they were after. And because they opted for a sunset shoot with Jenna Hidinger Photography, each frame is glowing thanks to the incredible light. The romantic weeping willow trees, still waters of a pond, and fields of wildflowers were washed in that romantic golden hour that only a late summer night can deliver. Today’s feature is simple, pure, and just about as good as it gets! Enjoy!
About the Couple
We met online and really connected over our health and fitness lifestyles, football, trying out new restaurants, and movies.
Last year, I made plans to visit my best friend in Florida. Before taking me to the airport, he told me he bought something for me to wear on my trip. He got down on one knee and proposed! He picked out the most perfect ring without having any idea of what I wanted!
About the Session
I wanted a water landscape and barn background like the one I pass going to my grandparents’ house. My mom suggested Succop Nature Park, which has a restored barn on their property and a large pond with a gorgeous weeping willow tree. This location was really the best of both worlds for me.
Jenna was amazing to work with. My fiance is not a fan of getting his picture taken and she really made our session a fun time! Her ability to get us to relax and the expressions she captured were priceless. The lighting that day was perfect. I will treasure these photos forever and I’m so excited for her to capture our wedding day! Jenna is the most talented photographer and the kindest soul. I can’t recommend her enough!
