Lemons, limes, oranges, oh my…this citrus wedding inspiration is oh so juicy! To celebrate summer, Burgh Brides recently teamed up with an all-star cast of Pittsburgh wedding vendors to bring our favorite seasonal fruits to life – wedding inspo style. The lawn of Nova Place was punched up with color thanks to a bright and festive palette of orange, yellow, lime green, sage, grapefruit pink, and magenta. White chiavari chairs from Eventioneers were a nice, neutral touch against a tablescape that focused on color, color, and more color! Community Flower Shop created a floral centerpiece of saturated hues and accented it with tiny poufs of fresh buds, lemons, limes, and clementines. Atop a pastel sage and yellow striped seersucker-like linen sat knotted sand-colored gauze napkins – both from Mosaic – and rattan chargers. Each place setting was finished off with a pink circular menu card designed by Oh Joyful Day and a lime pinned with each guest’s name for the sweetest touch of personalization. Speaking of sweet, a jaw-dropping ombre cake, orange macarons, sprinkled cakesicles, lemon sugar cookies, and other treats from Tasty Bakery made for the most mouth-watering display. To match the carefree, whimsical style, our bride Jaime wore a two-piece Rebecca Schoneveld dress from Luna Boutique that featured embroidered daises on the bodice and a silky skirt that was perfect in the summer breeze. La Pomponnee Beauty Artisans completed her look with a bright pink lip, a flirty high ponytail, and a mani/pedi featuring dainty lemon nail art. However, the freshest piece of this shoot came courtesy of Funk Balloon and Community Flower Shop. This tag-team whipped up a floral balloon arch backdrop that is absolutely poppin’!
