Bri and Kris spent plenty of time as friends and coworkers before eventually going on their first date, where they discovered a spark between them. A few months later, they decided to make their relationship official. Within three months, they moved in together, and less than a year after that, Kris proposed. Although Kris had lived in Pittsburgh for many years, he had never visited Mount Washington. Wanting to give Bri a quintessential Pittsburgh proposal since she grew up there, he chose the iconic overlook for the special moment. It turned out to be a first-time experience for them both, making it even more memorable.
