A three year-engagement gives you lots of time to plan out every single detail and this wedding at Pinehall at Eisler Farms had so.many.good.ones. From the soft and pastel color palette of peach, blush, white, and sage to the hanging floral installations from Julie James Design to the darling wooden Mr. and Mrs. signs adorning the chairs at the sweetheart table, there were plenty of things to ogle at at Tori and Dave’s wedding. The pair wanted to take give their rustic yet versatile venue an elegant twist, so they added romantic white draping across the barn’s wooden beams and threw in tons of greenery for added freshness. An antique window served as a vintage seating chart while a three-tiered buttercream cake dressed in peach and blush florals was the sweetest ending to this dreamy day. Speaking of dreamy, just wait until you see these photos from Abbie Tyler Photography. Let the swooning commence!

About the Couple
Dave and I have known each other since high school. In 10th grade, we became neighbors when my family moved to a different part of town. Throughout high school, we had similar friend groups but never took the time to get to know each other beyond casual conversation. In fact, we went to prom in the same group but not with each other. Fast forward to a few years after I graduated from Pitt and Dave was still there working on his nursing degree. The stars aligned and we saw each other again at a local bar. I don’t think I even said hi to Dave before I insisted that he buy my sister a tequila shot for her 21st birthday. Dave, being the guy he is, bought her a shot and managed to put up with our antics for the rest of the night. He offered to take me home from the bar since I didn’t drive that night and we lived in the same neighborhood. We had some conversations on the way home that I’ll never forget. I’m so thankful for that night and for God knowing what I needed before I even knew myself.
Dave surprised me by proposing in Charleston, South Carolina on the pier at sunset. His whole family was there with us, and his older brother even FaceTimed with my mom (who was unable to be there) so she could see the whole thing happen. Dave said when we traveled to the same spot a few years prior, that is where he realized I was the one and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. It was so romantic and beautiful!

About the Wedding
We had a long engagement – almost three years – due to Dave being in a rigorous graduate program at Pitt. Needless to say, I had tons of time to study Pinterest and figure out exactly what we wanted for the wedding day. The great thing about Pinehall is that it’s so versatile – it can literally be anything you want. I wanted a more elegant approach to our wedding, so I worked with my vendors and added things like draped linens to the beams to give it that super elegant feel. Our florist was incredible and made sure the flowers she chose reflected our vision.

Favorite Moment
My husband’s reaction when I walked down the aisle! I think it’s every bride’s dream to feel extra special in that particular moment. I also loved just spending the day with our closest friends and family and seeing how happy everyone was for us. I’ll never forget all the love that I felt that day.
