Pretty Pink Hotel Monaco Wedding

by Burgh Brides June 29, 2026

Pretty pinks, elegant golds, and ivory touches are shining bright in Jaclynn and Zac’s Hotel Monaco wedding. Between the color combination and the envisioned light and airy vibe, the style of the celebration was right up Abbie Tyler Photography’s alley. From the ceremony at Heinz Chapel to the portraits at several iconic Pittsburgh locations, not only did Abbie capture the romance of the day and the love between the newlyweds, but even the finest of details did not go unnoticed. This includes the bow-tied invitation design from Oh Joyful Day, the satin embroidered lace linens from Mosaic, and the gold scripted escort cards perfectly placed by Wanderlust Weddings and Events. At first glance through their photos (and the video by Dorosh Documentaries), Jaclynn and Zac’s big day looks as timeless as they come. While that is most definitely true, it was the addition of the little nuances they included that make it all the more modern and special! For instance, Jaclynn’s grandmother’s rosary was weaved into her blush pink bouquet designed by Community Flower Shop. Additionally, Zac’s father was the pastor for the ceremony. Oh and that show-stopping five-tier wedding cake from Tasty Bakery? Completely fake! If you ever needed inspiration on how to add your own unique spins to make even the most traditional of wedding days one of a kind, you’re gonna want to take notes on this one!

About the Couple

We met while I was on my pre-doctoral internship year in Erie in 2019. Zac had just moved back to Erie, where he is from, to begin his first job out of fellowship. Our first date was at a Scotty McCreery concert, which lasted over four hours. We quickly bonded over our love for running marathons (so much so that our third date was running 18 miles together), Mexican food, and our fur babies.

On June 17, 2021, Zac proposed at my favorite spot in Presque Isle, just months before we planned to move to Savannah, GA.

About the Wedding

Our wedding was classic, upbeat, light, and airy with romantic vibes and lot of pinks, whites, and golds.

Some unique aspects of our wedding is that Zac’s dad was our pastor and our stunning cake, which was a crowd favorite, was fake. The music during the ceremony was carefully chosen. The wedding party walked down the aisle to Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” (the Bridgeton remix), I walked down the aisle to “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele, and the wedding party recession was to “Better Together” by Luke Combs, all learned by the amazing organist at Heinz Chapel.

Another special aspect was that my grandmother’s rosary, which has been passed down throughout generations in my family, was woven into my bouquet.

The most fun and exciting piece was Lisa Marie Paints. She was at the church taking visuals and photos and she live painted throughout the reception. Our guests LOVED it and it is a wonderful piece to hang forever in our home.

Favorite Moment

Our favorite part of our wedding was just simply being able to share all the special moments throughout the day with our closest family and friends. We also loved our cocktail hour on the rooftop of Hotel Monaco, and that we were able to make an appearance and see everyone before the reception began.
