With a pastel pink and blue color palette and loads of feminine details, this Fox Chapel Golf Club wedding is the epitome of pretty! College sweethearts Maureen and Sam opted to combine blush and baby blue with lots of white, sage green, and gold accents. The result is fresh, organic, and perfect for springtime. To set the tone for their traditional celebration, Blush Paper Co. designed an invitation suite featuring a custom monogram in the chosen colors. That same monogram then made an appearance on the top layer of their wedding cake from Tasty Bakery, which also featured modern trends like gold foiling and a marble effect. Blossoms by Jilliann filled the reception space with arrangements of roses, hydrangeas, anemones, and fresh foliage, giving it an indoor garden vibe. Pink taper candles gave each table a dainty pop of color, while Victoria Fiaretti’s calligraphy on a gigantic mirror made for one wow-worthy seating chart! With expert planning by Em and E Events and images by Leeann Marie Photography, it’s no wonder Maureen and Sam’s soiree made our hearts leap. Take one look and we’re sure yours will too!
About the Couple
Through college, we were friends. Then, we met out one night in Pittsburgh with a group of college friends.
When he proposed, he took me back to Allegheny College, where we met. We used to pass each other every day outside one of the college buildings and he proposed outside that building as we walked together.
