Stylist Brianna Layman from Iris Marie Photography created and photographed this playful elopement styled wedding shoot at Big Butler Fairgrounds, offering inspiration for eclectic and non-traditional couples in Pittsburgh. Embracing the unexpected, the day was filled with colorful backdrops of balloons, carnival games, and flirty moments for the couple as they posed in front of amusement park rides. Tricia Corona created an effortless and wearable makeup look for the model, who wore a free-spirited Flutter Dress with drapey sleeves and a mix of modern floral and Swiss dot laces. An earthy Root + Bloom arrangement of wild roses and ferns accompanied the couple as they took turns holding the bouquet while sharing elephant ears and attempting to win prizes for one another. Highlights included the Ferris wheel photo ops and the reminder that Pennsylvania’s own Big Butler Fair is an adorable addition to our list of the best places to elope in Pittsburgh.Â

About the Shoot
From the photographer…
This shoot was inspired by non-traditional couples and Pennsylvania’s Big Butler Fair. Every wedding should be unique to every couple, which doesn’t always mean following a specific set of rules. If you love fairs, carnival games, and light-hearted food, why not incorporate that into your special day?
