In the midst of their busy summer wedding season, while listening to Chappel Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” and setting up for the next event, the Pinehall at Eisler Farms team began envisioning disco balls – sparking the concept for this vibrant styled wedding shoot. They reimagined a barn wedding without the typical casual and rustic chic vibe. The result was a shoot bursting with color and personality: hot pink, bold orange, and big energy. Captured in photos by Dawn Derbyshire, the day shimmered with sequins, retro-printed stationery, and a bridal bouquet tied in hot pink tulle, with all decor provided by the various venues at Weddings at Eisler Farms. The Floral Touch crafted bouquets using blooms from Eisler Flower Farm, expertly weaving together yellows, reds, and pinks. Styled like a true wedding, the shoot featured a ceremony officiated by Mark from ASimpleVow, who complemented the scene with a matching hot pink bowtie. Beauty By Caitlyn D styled both models, with multiple outfit changes provided by Gemma Bridal – including fun accessories like a hot pink-fringed jacket. Johnny’s Distillery contributed bottles that doubled as decor, along with aesthetically styled beverage stations, funky amber glassware, and an appetizer cart arranged by Medure’s Catering. Harvey’s Sweet Shoppe created two of the most colorful pink wedding cakes imaginable. The farm’s fields offered wildflowers and moody skies for intimate couple moments – proving that yes, you can drape tinsel and streamers at the altar and still capture timeless wedding photos outdoors. The team reflected, “Now, more than ever, it feels important to make a stand for ALL love, no matter how that might look.”

The Pinehall team reimagined a barn wedding to showcase a modern wedding look that still incorporates the charm of a country wedding without the hay fever. Barn weddings do not have to equal rustic!
This styled shoot was inspired by the idea of how fun a Western Pennsylvania barn wedding can be – it doesn’t always have to be rustic chic. Our favorite trend of the season has been the resurgence of bright colors, so while listening to “Pink Pony Club” while setting up for a wedding, we suddenly had visions of disco balls sparkling over the dance floor, and the concept for our styled shoot was born!
We knew we wanted to go bigger than your typical styled shoot and make it feel like a real wedding. We also wanted to showcase as many of our amazing vendors as possible! Every detail was conceptualized carefully, and the biggest part of what made our styled shoot so incredible was our dream team of vendors. Collaborating creatively with such an inspiring and positive group of people made for an amazing night.
Kristen from Medure’s styled an incredible appetizer cart while DJ Mikey B absolutely brought the vibes. Dawn was the hero of this shoot as lead photographer, but Afton from Afternoon Media was instrumental as a second shooter and captured some of our favorite candid moments. Mara from M20 Media made a magical day into something even more show-stopping with her videography and editing work – make sure you check out her video! Rachel from The Floral Touch turned our homegrown flowers from Eisler Flower Farm into absolutely stunning floral arrangements and the cutest bouquets for our brides, and don’t forget Charlie’s flower collar she made! Every single vendor who collaborated with us on this was instrumental and did an incredible job, and we cannot thank them enough!
Pinehall is one of three venues in our Eisler Farms family, alongside The Woods at Eisler Farms and The Atrium. Part of what makes our weddings so unique and different is that we are able to borrow from one another to make our couples’ dreams come true. So, while most of the decorations are from Pinehall and can be used by any of our couples, elements from all three of our venues were incorporated in this shoot. Not only that, but there were several familiar faces involved. People from our team filled in as the mother of the bride, lent their pet to join as a dog model, and offered clothing and accessories for the shoot.
Lastly, we cannot talk about this styled shoot without mentioning the two lovely brides. Now, more than ever, it feels important to make a stand for ALL love, no matter how that might look. With the Pink Pony Club inspiration, it felt right to ask Christine’s daughter, Nat, and her girlfriend, Midge, to model for this shoot. We love LOVE here at Eisler Farms…in all its forms! We want to make it clear that we honor and support all of our couples. Pinehall will always be a safe place for nontraditional couples to get married.
