Through the eyes of Kaitlin Powell Photography, we’re bringing to you Ashley and Bill’s elegantly rustic wedding at Pinehall at Eisler Farms. The rural venue set the scene for a day that was filled with organic floral designs and inspired-by-nature vibes. The heavenly bouquets and timeless boutonnieres by Honey Bunch Bouquets complimented the rest of the greenery-adorned installations, which were grown on the venue’s very own property. Floral chandeliers suspended from the ceiling, tabletops dressed in greenery, and pops of baby’s breath completed the look harmoniously. The bride even infused petals into her gown, choosing a garden floral applique stunner from Bridal Beginning. The al fresco ceremony, calming palette of sage, ivory, and gray, semi-naked wedding cake, and the pond-side photos all contributed to the charming appeal. With florals a plenty, these images are wildly romantic and awaiting your eyes. They are a true breath of fresh air!
About the Couple
We met online in 2013 while I was going to college in Pittsburgh.
I surprised Billy with a cabin trip to Cook Forest, and he surprised me by proposing. I was taking pictures of our dog at the cabin and turned around to Billy proposing.
About the Wedding
The wedding had a very boho/garden-type theme. Our colors were light sage, dark green, white, and mauve. My dress had little white flowers all throughout the tulle that gave it a boho feel. I wanted the wedding to have a very light and airy vibe with the color palette. I grew up in a more rural area, so that really inspired the colors. The most unique thing about our big day, was having our dog, Dexter, as the ring bearer. He stole the show!
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment of the day was our first look, back-to-back. It was nice to have a quiet moment together before the wedding without actually seeing each other. It also gave me a little insight about just how nervous he was, which melted my heart.
