Channel your inner nerd with Seth and TJ’s wedding at the Carnegie Science Center. This celebration featured a plethora of colors, interactive guest experiences, and unique details at every turn, starting with a ceremony in the Buhl Planetarium where the officiant wore a space suit and the Henne Jewelers rings were delivered by a robot. Afterwards, the grooms’ friends and family headed to Point View Hall for a reception unlike any other. It was there that child-like wonder and an awe for natural sciences were brought to life. Floating planet-like orbs hung from the ceiling thanks to EF Lighting and DIY-ed Lego table numbers and floral centerpieces decorated each table. Liquid nitrogen cocktails were served in laboratory beakers and dry ice ice cream was served as dessert alongside a Lego inspired Tasty Bakery wedding cake. Seth and TJ even wore custom suits from Surmesur Custom Menswear that featured science-inspired jacket linings. They called it the “Nerdy Wedding” and it was in the absolute best way…Lego flowers for all the centerpieces, planets hanging from the ceiling of the reception, liquid nitrogen cocktails served in beakers, dry ice ice cream for desert, a Lego cake, etc. There was something unique everywhere you looked. Plus, they got married in the Planetarium under the stars, and their officiant was in a spacesuit.
