Months after an intimate ceremony at the Grand Concourse, the newlyweds finally got to celebrate with family and friends with a dreamy wedding at the Wintergarden at PPG Place. The greenhouse-like Pittsburgh wedding venue gave way to modern garden vibes, which were expertly overseen by Hello Productions. Romantic lush pink and white florals from Sapphire and Lace Design met modern details such as silver beaded chargers from The 1978 Collection, a boxwood wall seating display, and the dreamiest glow courtesy of EF Lighting. Guests were treated to a six-tiered work of art from Tasty Bakery as Pittsburgh DJ Company kept the party going well into the night. About the Couple
They meet through mutual friends at a party their freshman year of college.
Devin planned a girls weekend for Alexandra and her best friends from high school. He crashed the weekend and proposed in the backyard of her childhood home (in Texas) after ten months of dating. A year later, they were married in an intimate ceremony at Grand Concourse, a few months before they welcomed their son.
About the Reception
From the bride…
My vision for both the ceremony and reception was timeless and classic. I wanted the beauty of the florals to shine and the candles added such a romantic ambiance. We had guests travel from Colorado, Texas, and New York to be with us on our special day.
Favorite Moment
My favorite moment of our reception was having our son be a part of our big celebration. We included him in our first dance and those are pictures I will cherish forever. All in all, I was just so happy to get to celebrate marrying my best friend and getting to show off what a great dad and husband he is.
