A black and white wedding at the Fairmont Hotel will never go out of style. But add touches of silver and you get a modern spin on this timeless look! Samantha and Kyle used these hues to inspire the elegant ambiance at their wedding, which included chic florals by the The Blue Daisy Floral Designs and gorgeous black and white patterned linens from Mosaic. Kyle’s face during their intimate first look says it all, but Samantha was truly stunning in her Hayley Paige wedding dress from Bridal Beginning with her hair perfectly pinned by Pittsburgh wedding hair stylist Simply Captivating Salon. About the Couple
Kyle and I met through work. He was living in Erie and we were in a training class together. The training was broken up into parts and Kyle would be coming back to Pittsburgh after the first training was over. He asked if I wanted to show him around Pittsburgh when he came back. I said yes, thinking nothing of it and the rest is history. Kyle moved here in 2016 and we haven’t spent a day apart since.
We have a beautiful daughter who helped with him with our proposal. Kyle had teamed up with my best friend and got her to take me out for a girls’ day, which involved getting our nails done, lunch, and margaritas. When we came back, I opened the door to rose petals leading to our back living room, where Kyle and our daughter were standing. He had roses, candles, and our song “Into the Mystic” playing. Both he and our daughter were dressed up. I was in shock. Kyle told me to put my enchilada down (the leftovers from lunch) and he got on one knee. It was everything I could’ve hoped for.
About the Wedding
Our colors were black, white, and silver. We wanted a modern/elegant look.
Favorite Moment
Our first look was my favorite part of the day. It was amazing having just 10 minutes to ourselves. It allowed us both to calm down. The look on Kyle’s face was priceless when he saw me. I will cherish that part of our day forever.
