Makenzie and Pasquale made us feel allllllll the moody romantic vibes with their modern, edgy wedding at The Atrium. Makenzie started the day getting glammed with her bridesmaids before donning her deep-V neck, 3D lace Jenny Yoo wedding dress from Blanc de Blanc Bridal. An oversized boho bouquet from Kiley Passaretti featuring pampas grass, king protea, and chrysanthemums added color and texture to Makenzie’s bridal style. Speaking of style, just wait until you see the hunter green velvet Revelry bridesmaids dresses…divine! A huge marquee sign congratulating the newlyweds welcomed the couple and their loved ones. After the sun light-filled ceremony, the vibe took a dark turn..and we mean that in the best of ways. Black linens from A Grand Day, hunter green table runners, gold beaded chargers, and black acrylic table numbers adorned each table, along with a mix of elevated and low, overflowing centerpieces. A neon sign and triangular backdrop were trendy statement pieces behind the head table. While the details were certainly a beautiful highlight, the couple’s favorite part of the day came in the form of a special surprise performance by the bride. Makenzie wrote and performed a rap about their love story set to the beat of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” theme song! Chelsea Creative Media captured it and every other picture perfect moment of this contemporary celebration.  Â
About the Couple
We originally met in 2013 but thought nothing of it. Fast forward three years to a night club in Cleveland, and we have been together ever since.
After being together for almost three years, Pasquale got down on one knee right in our first apartment after he played the song “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton on his guitar. Needless to say, I was absolutely shocked as I was standing there folding laundry in sweatpants. I later found out he only had the ring in his hands for a few hours…he just couldn’t wait!!
About the Wedding
The overall vibe of the wedding was moody and romantic. We used dark colors and a lot of candles to create the perfect ambiance.
Favorite Moment
We have so many favorites from that day. Our family and friends truly made every single detail so memorable. I think the one that tops it all is when I surprised my music-loving husband with a rap in front of everyone. We watch Fresh Prince of Bel Air together almost every morning before work, so it was only right to rap to the beat of the theme song. As soon as I got up there and saw his face beaming as he cheered me on, I knew the hours of practice in my car were worth it. He still makes me recite it on occasion in the car!
Beautiful Wedding! So proud and happy for Makenzie & Patsy!
