Like most of the work from La Candella Weddings, Lauren and Bobby’s engagement session has an ethereal quality to it. Quiet and woodsy, these images capture the beauty that is Mingo Creek Park while also showcasing the adorable love between this couple. Although there was potential for a rainy day, the sun ultimately made its appearance, which means these photos have a gorgeous glow to them. Lauren and Bobby’s affection for each other is undeniable, and so is the sweetness of this session. A park e-shoot will always be pretty!

I always love when I get to work with my wedding clients before their big day, and Lauren and Bobby were no exception! We had tried scheduling this shoot a couple of times, but because of bad weather and the fact that Bobby lives in Seattle, it took us a while to finally get it on the books. It was even supposed to rain this day, but we decided to take a chance and do it anyway…and how glad I am that we did! It didn’t rain at all (barely even a cloud in the sky)! These two were so much fun to work with, and they were one of the most adventurous couples, too! They climbed down a bank into the creek to take a few of the photos on a log. And did I mention that Lauren was wearing wedge heels and white pants?!? Talk about dedication!
