Just because you’re getting married in a barn doesn’t mean you have to limit your wedding to rustic decor. Inspired by California dreams and bohemian wedding vibes, this styled shoot at the Pittsburgh wedding venue Heaven Sent Farms is proof. With its eclectic mix of vintage-meets-boho-meets-romantic details, it will challenge your thinking while pleasing your eye. A woodsy macramé backdrop decorated the ceremony site overlooking the rolling hills of this farm venue. Instead of an aisle runner, an rug covered the path between geometric candle holders and rows of wooden chairs. Inside the barn, wooden tables were adorned with antique brass candlesticks and delicate yet vibrant florals from Julie James Design. Velvet settees, wicker chairs, and Southwestern inspired elements served as a staged lounge area and was styled by Vintage Alley Rentals. Thanks to fresh greens in her hair and a bright berry lip courtesy of JL Makeup Studio and Beauty Boutique, this bride looked like a boho princess in the lace-bodiced gown from Blanc de Blanc Bridal. Styled by Em + E Events and captured by Kaitlin Powell Photography, this shoot is perfect for any bride who wants to bring a little magic to a rustic wedding venue!
About the Shoot
Who doesn’t love all things boho? Heaven Sent Farms is a wedding venue just outside the Pittsburgh area and the perfect setting for a magical boho wedding! One look at the view surrounding the barn will be enough to make you fall in love.
The lead coordinator at the farm is from California originally and wanted to bring a little of that out to the farm – showing that just because you’re on a farm, doesn’t mean you have to do a “country wedding”!
