Death to burlap and mason jars!
I’m kidding, of course. I’ll always love the rustic look. But just because your wedding is in a barn doesn’t mean you have to go with this style for your big day! On the contrary, the juxtaposition of a rich color palette, sparkly elements, and luxe textures against the wooden beams of a barn can be absolutely stunning. Burgh Brides Vendor Guide members Rustic Acres Farm and Garnish Event Design (both of JPC Event Group) know this all too well, and hopefully this styled shoot from them will help you think outside the mason jar.
To show off the venue and their floral and design chops, Garnish curated a look that was one part vintage, one part extravagant, and all parts divine. Antique china, velvet settees, sequin linens, and vibrant, lush florals come together beautifully and provided a surprising pop of excitement. With the help of crystal chandeliers, shiny gold touches, and sheer draping, the barn was transformed into an enchanted setting. Couple the perfectly-styled decor with Savor Fresh Catering’s farm-to-fete creations and unique food presentations, and you have the makings of a real party!
And that’s exactly what this styled shoot turned into. After all the details (and even a few models!) were photographed, the special guests arrived to explore the venue and to indulge their senses in just a sampling of what JPC as a whole can do. Luckily, if you weren’t there, you can relive the beauty below…or you can plan to attend the Rustic Acres Farm Open House & Garnish Event Design Floral Showcase on May 15! Be there for the reveal of recent farm renovations, taste the fresh offerings of Savor, see some of Pittsburgh’s most talented wedding vendors in action, and let the incredible designs of the entire JPC Event Group inspire your own wedding day!
As you scroll through the photos below, be sure to also keep your eyes peeled for other Vendor Guide members Event Source and Steven Vance Violin & DJ Music! Magic happens when good people come together!
