Regality and luxury come to mind in this incredibly sophisticated emerald green & gold wedding inspired styled shoot. With the many royal weddings of recent years as their muse, Soiree by Souleret and Megan Lee Photography designed an editorial that is dripping in opulence and oozing with romance. Rich tones of green coupled with classic neutral shades and luxe metallics made for a color palette perfectly suited for the chosen venue – The Pennsylvanian. A 24-person head table was divinely dressed in topiaries, taper candles, and cloche bell jars, while the entire tablescape was flanked by potted blooming trees, all thanks to the creative genius of greenSinner. Gold-rimmed chargers, baroque style dishes, and dainty gold flatware – all from All Occasions Party Rental – would make any guest feel like a VIP. The luxurious details didn’t end there though. Velvet ribbon and custom wax seals were the finishing touches on the fine art inspired wedding stationery from Emily Baird Design, while this real life bride-to-be (she and the “groom” are getting married in 2020!) looked like a dream in a gown and accessories from LUXEredux Bridal. If you’re on the hunt for some serious Harry-and-Meghan-esque wedding ideas, look no further.
About the Shoot
The goal for this wedding inspired shoot was to bring back the luxury ballroom weddings in the fine art field of photography. Living in a big city like Pittsburgh, the majority of weddings take place in big and beautiful ballrooms. With all the talk of royal weddings in 2018, the designer and stylist brought back the rich tones of gold and emerald to create a stunning ballroom style wedding! The couple that modeled in this shoot are engaged and getting married this year. They are both dancing partners at the Pittsburgh Ballet, so their chemistry and elegance for this shoot was perfect!
