A downtown Pittsburgh engagement session will always hold a special place in my heart. But before heading to the city center, Claudette and Andrew explored Lawrenceville with Hot Metal Studio. The couple spends most weekends in this hip neighborhood, trying new restaurants or meeting up for drinks with friends. For they pre-wedding pics, they wanted to recreate some of their best times together. Getting cozy in Grapperia or traipsing down Butler Street, these two are cute no matter what they’re doing. Once the sun started to set, things got a little fancy thanks to Claudette’s little black dress and the shining lights of Pittsburgh at night. This session is picturesque, a little bit fancy, and just downright darling!
From the bride…
We wanted to reenact what date nights are normally like on the weekends. On Fridays, we like to keep it casual with dinner and some wine at some of their favorite bars in Lawrenceville. We will walk along Butler Street or meet up with friends. Some Saturdays, we can be found drinking some bubbly and bourbon and eating oysters in one of Pittsburgh’s new restaurants. Dining, drinking, and making each other laugh until it hurts are just a few things we are both fond of. Tiffany of Hot Metal Studio has an amazing way of making you feel at ease and can make the most ordinary background seem so picturesque and unique. Pittsburgh means so much to us because there is always something new to discover both within the city and our relationship. It’s where they met, got engaged, and will be married.
I love this storytelling, the author is very good at telling these emotions!!!
What a perfect pair! Congratulations! ❤️
