I’m sharing a little jade & gray wedding inspiration today. Light colors are all the rage this year. Serenity and rose quartz are everywhere, thanks to Pantone, and other soft shades are sweeping the wedding world as well. So it’s no wonder this month’s color palette idea has my heart all aflutter. Jade is a refined take on mint green. Think more muted and less pastel. It can even look grayed in some lights. But when you intentionally pair these two colors together, the combination can be magical. Soft, sophisticated, yet still feminine, jade and gray go hand and hand with this year’s hottest wedding style, organic chic. You’re in luck when it comes to florals. Air plants, eucalyptus, succulents, lambs ear, and dusty miller are all excellent choices. They’ll look beautiful next to pops of cream and ivory, obviously. But if color is your thing, opt for lavender, peach, plum, or even marsala. The richness of the darker shades against the lightness of jade and gray will simple ooze drama and romance. Keep the decor natural and simple…kraft paper, wood, crossback chairs, chalkboards, greenery garlands, and white pumpkins in the fall. Heck, you can even revisit the cement vase tutorial I featured last year! Either way, jade and gray is fresh, organic, and oh-so-stylish.
