Victoria and Charles’s Bar Marco wedding may have been small in size, but it was abundant in love and meaning. Surrounded by only 16 of their closest friends and family, the couple embraced the beauty of intimacy, choosing to focus on one another. The simplicity of the day began with Victoria’s effortless bridal look. Her elegance shone through in her thrifted wedding dress, proving that true beauty knows no price tag. Jae Lee Paredes worked her magic to enhance Victoria’s natural beauty, allowing her to shine even brighter. The minimalistic details continued into the decor which accentuated the warm ambiance of the Strip District wedding venue. All the elements came together to create a serene backdrop for Victoria and Charles’ heartfelt vows. Afterwards, a family-style table adorned with dark linens, lush DIY greenery, and floating candles set the stage for an intimate feast shared among loved ones. It was the perfect atmosphere for the pair to share their first dance, toast to love, and exchange stories before finishing the night off at a nearby bar. The beauty you’re about to witness through these images by North Arrow Photography is endless!

About the Couple
Charles and Victoria met in March 2017 at the lunch line of Chipotle in Market Square. It all started with one simple question “What do you recommend, bowl or burrito?” and the rest is history. Six and a half years, three cats, and many burritos later, Charles proposed to Victoria on the bridge over Lake Elizabeth in Allegheny Commons West Park on August 27, 2022. After the proposal, Charles took Victoria back to their home where friends and family were waiting to celebrate the couple.

About the Wedding
Charles and Victoria decided to have an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. The total guest count was 16. This allowed the couple and their friends and family to really focus on the love being shared that day and less on the stress of a formal big wedding. They wanted the theme of the wedding to be timeless and elegant. The decor was very minimal with floating candles, white florals, and greenery. For the reception, all guests sat in a square table formation and the food was served family style. The formation of the tables allowed all guest to be able to converse and see other directly. It truly felt like a normal family dinner. Everyone was able to share stories of the couple, which was equally uplifting, funny, and even embarrassing. Afterward, the couple reserved a bar downtown where other friends and/or family could see the couple on their big night. Then they danced the rest of the night away on the North Shore.

Favorite Moment
There were quite a few favorite moments of the day. During their vows, the couple actually both said a quote that really defines their relationship. “In a world full of temporary things, you are a perpetual feeling.” Another favorite was the family dinner. They were able to share incredible food, along with laughs and cries. Having such a small guest count really allowed them to sit and talk with their loved ones without the worry of rushing to spend time with everyone. The last favorite moment of the night was walking into their favorite bar and the DJ immediately gave them a shout out over the speakers and played their favorite song.
