I’ll say this – JPC Event Group takes care of their clients. Just take a gander at the client tasting they recently put together at their Rustic Acres Farm venue. This wasn’t just a tasting. Oh, no. In typical JPC fashion, the team used it as an opportunity to show off their creative chops, not only in food and catering but also in event design and styling. Pulling inspiration from this season’s trendiest pattern – plaid – JPC fashioned an afternoon that was cozy and organic with just a touch of glamour and rustic chic.
Under the guise “Herbs & Plaid”, navy blue and hunter green played the backdrop beautifully. Warmth was added by gray linens, white and sage florals, fresh herbs, and cobalt blue glassware, among other pieces. Silver sequin tablecloths were a sparkly contrast against the barnwood, farm tables, and cross-back chairs. Clients feasted on heirloom tomato and crostini stations before being served a multitude of courses family style, right at their table. An oh-so-sweet ending was brought to them by gourmet cupcakes, freshly baked pies, and a flambe station, where the executive chef made bananas foster and donut holes flambe right before their very eyes.
Perfectly fall, delightfully detailed, and a feast for all the senses, JPC Event Group’s latest client tasting was as nice as any wedding I’ve seen. This team knows how to put on a show. It’s no wonder their reputation proceeds them.

From Jody of JPC Event Group…
Knowing that plaid is a hot commodity in the fashion world this fall, we wanted to create a plaid, hunting lodge-inspired setting for the Rustic Acres Farm: Weddings by JPC Event Group Client Tasting. Unique table runners in a dark watchman plaid were designed from an nontraditional source. They were paired with charcoal gray table linens and cross-back farm chairs from our partner, Event Source. Table “numbers” spelling out the words HERBS & PLAID (which was the hashtag for the event) were covered in fresh moss. We then added some whimsy with fresh organic herbs, ornamental kale, and heirloom white and green gourds to round our styling, paying homage to the sustainable, fresh catering being created for the event. A little touch of luxury sparkled from our silver sequin lounge pillows on the French country furniture and from the silver sequin tablecloths on the cocktail tables.
With fresh foliage and vines hanging from the barn chandeliers, blue stemware from Event Source, and lush white florals decked with ivy and blue thistle created by Garnish Event Design, we mixed our Amish crafted farmer’s tables with traditional round seating for eclectic appeal. The focus on food gave us an awesome opportunity to create unique food displays and dessert stations while utilizing our collection of antique and vintage furnishings. Pies on bookshelves, cupcakes on a dresser, assorted chef-crafted breads and flavored butters on a door, and flatbread swinging in the air on barnwood swings…it was all a display for the senses.
After appetizers, an autumn-inspired family style meal was served to each table. The event was completed with our innovative table side flambe chef’s cart, where Executive Chef Ryan Kapucinski created donut holes and bananas foster flambe with our vanilla bean ice cream.
